IoT Connectivity
Making the right connection
Our IoT connectivity solutions work over any network, anywhere, anytime — with the ability to track, monitor and manage data use, ensuring it is easily recorded and billed down to the very last KB.
We have a number of strategic partnerships that provide managed connectivity services to customers across the globe, with 545+ mobile networks in over 220+ countries globally — providing private, secure connections whenever and wherever you need them.
Whether you need LPWA, GPRS, 3G, 4G, 5G, Circuit Switch Data, SMS or voice — all are available via our secure, managed and monitored service.
Our connectivity solutions offer private 3G, 4G and 5G connections to Telefónica / O2, Vodafone, Hutchison 3G, Orange, EE, Sure, Manx, KPN and Tele2 — and their respective global platforms — enabling you to benefit from both single and multiple network coverage options to suit individual applications. For more exacting requirements, multiple networks on one SIM are also available.
Technical Foundation
Private IP addressing & simple APN setup
Every managed connection comes with a fixed private IP as standard — giving you the security and reliability your IoT devices need.
Private Static / Fixed IP as Standard
Connectivity as a Service (CaaS) provides Static / Fixed Private IP addressing as standard on all managed and intelligent data tariffs. Non-managed data uses a Dynamic IP as standard.
Read our blog post on IP addresses →Simple Setup, Single APN
Our network allows a single Access Point Name (APN) irrespective of the underlying mobile network — simplifying device connections and enabling access to devices across a private network.
Private Managed Network via VPN
Coupled with a VPN connection to our infrastructure, your devices become part of your own private managed network — without the cost and complexity of developing your own infrastructure.
Real-Time Usage Management
SIMs are managed via the IoT Hub Portal, providing real-time visibility of all data usage with the ability to set data caps and alerts — so you always stay in control of spend.
eSIM Ready
Our eSIM solution enables over-the-air tariff and network changes, allowing SIMs to be updated and used globally without physical intervention or replacement.
5G Ready
5G is now available on all four major UK networks — O2, Vodafone, Three and EE — giving your devices access to the highest available data transfer rates wherever they are deployed.
Anywhere SIM Portfolio
More ways to connect, more opportunities to sell
The Anywhere SIM portfolio has evolved. From backup connectivity to specialist applications like lifts, gates and intercoms — each solution is designed for reliable, multi-network performance wherever your customers need it most.
Anywhere eSIM
The Anywhere eSIM is a unique UK-based connectivity solution designed to act as a safety net for a primary mobile service. Instead of replacing a current contract, it sits in the background of a device — ready to jump in whenever the single network fails.
- Multi-Network Coverage — roams seamlessly across all four major UK networks to find signal in single network black spots.
- Safety Net Connectivity — ideal for those who travel through rural areas, live in poor coverage zones, or require "always-on" reliability for work or emergencies.
- Instant Digital Setup — no physical SIM required. Simply scan a QR code to activate the service alongside an existing physical SIM or primary eSIM.
- Voice, SMS & Data — voice capability for calls, SMS services and data usage all included.
Anywhere Lift SIM
A mission-critical connectivity solution designed specifically for lift servicing, installation and maintenance companies. As the UK moves away from traditional BT landlines, this SIM provides a robust, mobile-based alternative to ensure emergency lift telephones always remain connected.
- VoLTE Enabled — future-proofed with Voice over LTE (4G calling) technology, providing high-quality voice calls for emergency communications.
- Seamless PSTN Replacement — the perfect solution for organisations transitioning from legacy analogue lines to modern GSM connectivity.
- UK Mobile Number — the service comes with a UK mobile number as standard, ensuring the service can easily be contacted back in case of emergency without any foreign roaming charges.
- 50 UK Minutes and 10 SMS included as standard.
Anywhere Gate SIM
The Anywhere Gate SIM is a specialised M2M connectivity solution engineered specifically for GSM electric gate openers. It ensures that properties remain accessible and secure by providing a dedicated, reliable link to a gate's control system.
- Dial-to-Open Functionality — designed for inbound calling usage; simply call the SIM's UK mobile number to trigger the gate.
- Multi-Network Reliability — roams across all four major UK networks to ensure a gate responds even in areas with poor single-network coverage.
- Always-Live Service — unlike standard PAYG SIMs, this SIM does not require regular usage to stay active.
- Inbound Only — if outbound calling is needed, see the Anywhere Intercom SIM instead.
Anywhere Intercom SIM
The Anywhere Intercom SIM ensures that intercoms remain functional even in rural areas or during local single network outages, using multi-network roaming technology to connect to the strongest available signal from all four major UK networks.
- Specialist Device Compatibility — optimised for use in GSM intercoms, gate controllers and security systems that require a stable mobile link.
- Fixed UK Mobile Number — allows customers to call their intercom or receive visitor alerts just like a regular phone.
- Outbound Call Support — unlike inbound-only gate SIMs, this version supports the two-way voice communication necessary for intercom systems.
- 100 UK Minutes and 5 SMS included as standard.

Remote access & VPN solutions
All IoT connections come as standard with a Private Static / Fixed IP address. To remotely connect to a device you will need one of the following options.
🔐 IPSec VPN
IPSec VPN is one of two common VPN protocols used to establish a VPN connection. It's set at the IP layer and is often used to allow secure, remote access to an entire network rather than just a single device.
If you have a customer or partner that requires access to multiple devices, or has multiple users that need to access a single device from various locations, IPSec is usually the best solution to discuss.
24-month minimum term, or £1,300 upfront (one-off charge)
🔑 SSL VPN
An SSL VPN (Secure Sockets Layer virtual private network) is a form of VPN that can be used with a standard web browser to remotely and securely access a device.
SSL VPN allows segmented access for users. For example, users can be limited to checking email and accessing shared drives rather than having access to the entire network.
Per user login
🌐 Public Fixed IP Address
A Fixed Public IP address is a publicly accessible address that can be reached from any point on the internet. Convenient if you're away from your internal network and need to remotely access a device.
Please note: as public IP addresses are publicly accessible, they carry security risks. We always recommend exploring VPN alternatives first — speak to our team for guidance on the right option for your deployment.

Which remote access option is right for you?
For multiple devices or multiple users needing access — IPSec VPN is usually the best fit. For individual users needing browser-based access to a single device — SSL VPN works well. For the simplest possible remote access where security risk is accepted — Public IP is an option, but we strongly recommend IPSec or SSL as safer alternatives.
